What a logo really costs in the Philippines

From P500 Facebook finds to six-figure agency retainers, here is what you actually get at every price level, and how to spend smart.

Ask ten designers what a logo costs and you will get ten different numbers, from P500 to half a million. That spread confuses a lot of business owners into either overpaying for something simple or cheaping out on the one graphic they will use every single day.

The honest answer is that you are not really paying for the logo. You are paying for the process behind it. Once you know what each price level actually includes, choosing becomes much easier.

This is the marketplace and Facebook-group tier. You send your business name, and a day later you get a logo. What usually happens behind the scenes is a quick edit of a template or stock graphic: your name typed over an icon someone else has also bought.

Sometimes that is genuinely fine. If you are testing a small side hustle and need something today, go ahead. Just know the risks: no revisions, files that are often just a JPG you cannot resize, and the real chance another shop is using the same mark. Replacing a logo later, after the signage and packaging are printed, costs far more than doing it properly once.

The P5,000 to P30,000 range

This is where working studios live, and where most small and medium businesses should be looking. At this level someone actually studies your business first: who your customers are, who you compete with, where the logo will be used. You see original concepts, you go through real revision rounds, and you finish with a complete file pack.

A proper file pack matters more than most owners realize. It means vector source files that scale from sticker to billboard, a one-color version for stamps and uniforms, and versions prepared for both print and screen. That pack is what keeps your brand usable for the next ten years.

The six-figure agency project

Big agencies charge P100,000 and up because they are not selling a logo, they are selling research: customer interviews, market studies, brand strategy decks, and a full identity system with guidelines. For a funded company rebranding across dozens of branches, that depth pays for itself. For a coffee shop opening its second branch, it is usually more process than you need.

What actually matters at any price

Whatever you spend, make sure these five things are part of the deal before you pay:

  • Vector source files (AI, EPS, or SVG), not just JPG or PNG exports.
  • A one-color version that survives stamps, engraving, and cheap printing.
  • The number of revision rounds, in writing, before the project starts.
  • Clear ownership: once paid, the logo and its files are fully yours.
  • A portfolio with real work for businesses like yours, not just concept art.

How we price it

At Purple Logo we quote per project instead of using a fixed menu, because a food cart logo and a corporate rebrand are simply not the same job. Send us what you are building and you will have an exact number the same day, with everything above included. No surprises at handover, and the files are yours forever.
