Design for Facebook first

For most Filipino businesses the Facebook page is the storefront. Make your logo, cover, and templates match before anything else.

In most countries, a brand designer starts with the sign above the door. In the Philippines, the door is your Facebook page. It is where customers check if you are open, message you their orders, and quietly judge whether you look legit enough to pay in advance.

That judgment happens in about three seconds, using exactly three things: your profile picture, your cover photo, and your latest posts. Those three deserve design attention before anything else you print.

The three-second checklist

Look at your own page like a stranger would and check:

  • Does the logo survive the circle crop, or are the edges cut off?
  • Does the cover photo say what you sell without anyone clicking?
  • Do the last nine posts share the same colors and fonts, or is it chaos?
  • Is the important info, like hours and location, actually findable?

When you commission a logo, ask for the pieces that make the page match: a square version built for the circle crop, a cover photo, and two or three post templates in your brand colors. That small kit does more for customer trust than an expensive signboard, because far more people will see it. The sign reaches your street. The page reaches everyone.
